I like the fact that DE also helps balance ph, as I have been very acidic, and the silica content appears to be very beneficial for all sorts of things, including pain and stiffness.

I started using DE 2 days ago at 1 tbsp. a day. I would have had to pay 54.00 on the internet with shipping for a 50 lb. bag, but luckily I found some at my local feed store (the exact same food grade package) for 20.00. I intend to use the bulk of it on ants and around the house. I am also taking it internally as I have been suffering with unknown aches and pain for past ten years. Also had a heart attack 2 years ago, and the tests done at that time showed I was also type 2 diabetic. I am only 53. I tried DE once before about 3 years ago, and passed some chopped up parasites, but quit taking it, as I did not know all about how it could help me. When I read all the testimonials about how it did good things for people as well, I started taking it. I cannot take calcium because I have a tendancy towards kidney stones, so this was my primary reason for taking it. I worry about bone density. After taking it for about a month, I noticed how fast my hair and nails grew. Then, about a month ago, I fractured my leg…..first broken bone at age 60…and I hope the last. The good news was, my doctor who put me in a cast cannot believe how fast the fracture is healing. It was a long fracture of the fibula, so he figured I would be in a cast for 8 weeks or more. Well, last xray at 3 weeks in a cast, he said probably only 6 weeks due to my healing fast. Guess the fossil shell flower has a lot of benefits I didn’t even consider. Deworming process with DE

Anonymous says,I have been on DE for a few weeks now and am going through the deworming process. I wish to point out that DE-related constipation is NOT always due to not drinking enough water. I drink enough water, and was doing fine, with brilliant bowel movements the first few days of taking DE, and then suddenly, nothing. All that would come out was a bit of mucus and a few worms. I have resorted to doing enemas and can report that what is plugging me up is NOT the DE itself, but rather the dead worms and large amounts of mucus. Presumably the bowel mucus is part of the detox process. So if you get constipated, TAKE AN EMENA or a laxative, because what’s blocking you up is likely to be dead worms and / or mucus that you need to get out of your body!! Yes, ewwww. It’s gross. Tell me about it!
